About Me
Hello I'm Dougal ,
I've recently graduated from Goldsmiths university in London studying Fine art. I grew up and still live in a small town called Stroud in southwest England not far from Bristol, which has a lovely community feel. I'm into Art and Anthropology, ethical regenerative living and my favourite hobby is to travel. I love to learn and share with people who's cultures differ from my own and enjoy exploring beautiful new landscapes and cities. Learning about cultural traditions, the land and plants fascinates me. I'm eternally enchanted by natures capacity to heal. Travelling before I have experienced so much kindness and am grateful for and inspired by all the incredible people in the world!
i'm interested in almost everything, and would like to describe myself as creative, open hearted and open minded and always looking to keep the heart and mind unified. I'm social and love to make new friends and authentic connections and respect and value diversity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Similarly to Hitchhiking couch surfing is a unique opportunity to meet beautiful people who know the place and are part of its culture. Such an enriching platform to connect with likeminded, conscious humans around the world who you would otherwise never meet. It's something authentic that hostels don't really offer. It's also makes trips possible on a budget! Meeting people couch surfing in the past has super fun and heart warming.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a lover of all music.. 3 of my favourites are Bjork, Joni Mitchell, Aphex Twin. Also very into film and documentaries of all genres. One of my favourite films is 'the Holy mountain'... a strange but incredible film. There are very few books i have read and disliked and i enjoy many of the classic writers one of my favourites is 'the outsider' by Camus.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My best friend and I Hitchhiked through from Sofia in Bulgaria to Rome in Italy in incredible people and locations. That was a pretty cool trip
