About Me

i love to travel and see new places, even if its just exploring the local community where im living at the moment. im lucky enough to travel a lot through my work, I’ve just come back from Costa Rica where I was working in a hotel, So meeting and working with people from all nationalities is normal to me. i guess i have quite a few interests, mostly to do with sports or music, though i'll happily sit around sometimes and do very little apart from stare at some screen and watch funny stuff or documentaries etc. ive spent many winters in the alps and love snowboarding and sledging in my time off from work. i do like to play ping pong, table football, pool, basketball and a bit of football or volleyball if my body holds up ok! Softball is also a favourite game of mine, I’m really missing the guys in uvita right now! socialising with new or old friends is something else that im pretty happy to get involved with, if theres some live music or a sound system in the background then thats all good.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

most of the reasons are stated above really, to see some new places and meet new people, be it hosting or visiting, although ive had very little chance to host of late. once im settled somewhere im up for it for sure.

Interests

i wouldn't call myself some square outdoorsy sporty type at all, but its nice to fish by the river sometimes or take my bike out for a few hours. i do like to play poker against actual people, especially if its with friends or work friends. Snowboarding is great fun and I've just got into natural building having spent 3 months learning in Ecuador last year. I do love to spend time by the ocean, or preferably in it. I’m no surfer but I do love to play in the waves somewhere warm and try and get up on a board!

Music, Movies, and Books

i can get into all sorts of music, i really do listen to anything from abba to gabba.
I’m not one to get too excited about movies, which is just as well as my attention span is pathetic! I’d rather you told me a story, at least I’d be less likely to drift off someplace else!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

horse trekking in kashmir is something that is printable i suppose

Teach, Learn, Share

i can teach you cooking if you like, maybe ill just do the washing up! i like to try and speak french and Spanish, ill happily teach you what i know, and the same goes for most things really.
