About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to expose as many people as possible to the beauty of Texas and her People, specifically the San Antonio and surrounding areas!

ABOUT ME

Ha, before I found this page in the profile I typed all about myself in the 'Couch' area! But to add to it... I'm a family man, a believer in freedom for the individual, that government should be as unobtrusive as possible, and that men and women should have every opportunity to pursue their dreams in this life. I was raised in the country, so although I do love the suburban lifestyle, my heart is always somewhere outdoors. I love my wife, I love my children, I love my friends, and I am always eager to get to know good people, wherever they may be. I like to think that I am a very good amateur bartender, and love to mix up tasty drinks for guests and myself. Sitting on the front porch in the evening with good friends, enjoying an adult beverage, listening to music, and having excellent conversations is one of the things I consider most fulfilling.
I'm a fairly deep guy, so stop on by and get to know me!

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes are far too varied to list individual books and movies and music! I can tell you I like and appreciate every kind of music EXCEPT for jazz. PTOOEY! Books...I tend to only read non-fiction because I figure if I'm going to invest the time in reading a book I'd better be learning something useful from it! Movies...I love horror more than other genres, but am able to enjoy almost anything. Except for Mama Mia. PTOOEY!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth of my children. Nothing can ever come close to beating that experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

My family and I are avid shooters, and would love to take you to the shooting range! I also make my own wine and would teach whoever is interested. I am working on several side projects to try and increase my income that I would gladly talk about. I also have written a book and self-published it because I was too impatient to try and convince a publisher it was worth their time. We are raising chickens in our backyard, and have several fruits and other edibles growing around our house :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hospitality, Texan/Conservative culture, homemade wine, good conversation :)
