Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a major itch to travel and meet new people outside of my home town before I start my professional career.

I get excited when people show me what they love about their home town the same way I love showing people the great things of San Diego.

I look forward to reciprocating those who have been gracious to lend their space.

I want to meet new people. I'm a firm believer of the saying that strangers are friends you haven't met.

I love surrounding myself with people who enjoy and appreciate good food, cocktails, and conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Extremely diverse taste in music. And yes, that includes country. Go-to music is in the realm of synth-soul R&B (e.g., James Blake), electronic (e.g., Galantis), trap (e.g., Bro Safari), neo-soul R&B (e.g., Jill Scott), 70s music (e.g., James Taylor) and more.

Anything as slapstick and absurdist as a Mel Brooks film to a serious coming-of-age story. Not a fan of high-budget, blockbuster films at all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gave my mom a set of coloring books after I learned she had Alzheimer's as a way to keep her productive and continue her creativity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach how to make cocktails and my famous chicken adobo dish.

If you have anything to teach in terms of cocktails and food from your culture, I'd be extremely excited. I also want to learn about your favorite restaurant or bar, whether they are hole in the walls or offer a culinary experience. It boils down to this: will our taste buds and tummies be happy?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation. Laughs. Thought. Food. New adventures

Countries I’ve Visited

Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, China, Germany, Netherlands
