Overview
About Me
I'm friendly, book-loving, conscientious, and interested in learning about the world. I studied English at university, and my passion for literature and philosophy remains my primary occupation; I'm hoping to be a writer of some kind in the future. When I find myself in a new place, the first thing I want to do is go outside and explore.
My French is good, though not quite fluent - I'm trying to change this!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think travelling is great, but it can sometimes feel quite superficial. Staying in a hostel, going out and ticking off tourist sites, getting dinner in some restaurant: all of this is pleasant, but it doesn't feel like much of a 'cultural exchange'. I think the best part of travel is meeting new people, and I hope to do this with Couchsurfing.
