I work in college admissions in Boston. I am doing my first international trip for work this fall and thought it would be cool to connect with people through this site! I'm really into music, film, local cultures and cuisines, nightlife. I like to think I'm pretty open-minded and easygoing!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a couple great experiences couchsurfing in France last summer. I would like to meet people while travelling in the future and get more involved with the community in the Boston area (have to figure out with my new room mates how often I can host people, but happy to serve as a tour guide!)

Hitchhiked from Edinburgh to Paris (it was a race, for charity). Don't know if "amazing" is the right word for how it feels to stand in the rain in Dover all night as hundreds of Calais-bound cars speed past, but it's pretty cool in retrospect.

I play music - I would love to jam with anyone I meet on my travels (although I won't be bringing a saxophone with me)!
I work in higher ed and am interested in efforts to make education more international, diverse, affordable, innovative, etc.
