I'm pretty laid back. I try to live with an open mind and a positive attitude. I like exploring, being outdoors, and connecting with all sorts of people. I'm always up for an adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I wouldn't be so lucky if it weren't for all the wonderful people who have supported me with their love and compassion. I only hope that I can return the favour.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing provides an avenue for cultural connection and supports the unity of humanity. I believe everyone has a unique lens through which they see the world. With acceptance, compassionate communication, and grace, I hope to share a peaceful view.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of folk, blues, jazz, funk, soul, reggae, and traditional African (I play in a Marimba Band on Salt Spring Island).

Some of my favourite authors: Gary Snyder, David Suzuki, Donella Meadows, Richard Feynman, J.R.R.Tolkien, Khaled Hosseini, Eckhart Tolle, Hermann Hesse, Patrick Rothfuss, Robert Frost, Paulo Coelho, Steinbeck, Kerouac ...there are too many good books to read!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two summers living and volunteering at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga. I learned much about living in community and practicing selfless service. This was one of the most heart-opening experiences of my life.

I enjoy cooking, drawing, playing guitar, and practising French.
