About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm, first of all, an interested person. Interested in everything that can be new or different to me: people, music, places (and it's local history), nature, culture, food, drinks. Furthermore, I'm kind of talkative, dreamer, respectful, easygoing, inventive, experimentalist, intuitive, rational, outgoing. But maybe not all of these at the same time! ;^)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for meeting new people, from all the world! That is surely a great experience :^)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm pretty sure that ^ wasn't about an "Amazing Thing I’ve Done" when I wrote the text below. But I won't change that now...

I like thinking about the hugeness of the universe, and comparing it to us. I like to look to our daily things, streets, buildings, cityes from far, as we can do with Google Earth, or as I did when I went to some high peaks in my region. Then I saw how everything seem (and is) so tiny, and that lead me to the observation of how we and our personal problems are insignificant compared to the whole universe. That doesn't mean, at all, we shouldn't be in search of pleasure and self achievement; but that help us to understand that we are a micro 'source of egoistic choices' in a immeasurably big world shared with billions of other ways of thinking. It's impossible to be truely glad of yourself if you don't make effort, in your own way, to make the world a better place for others. Happiness is a collective matter.

---------------------

A few (lot of) times I got so overly drunk and that made me a little sick after, which wasn't good ofcourse. But these episodes taught me two basic things: first, you can do everything you want, even break your own limits and rules, if you agree with that (at that moment, cause we change) and if you know the consequences. Second, there's always something you hide in your most intimate inner, from others and from yourself; finding, understanding e revealing it is extremely liberating. Alcohol is far from being a good way of self-knowledge, but will probably be the first.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a brazilian I'm an awful soccer player and bad samba dancer too, but at least I can teach you how to prepare preety tasting caipirinhas :^P

I'm always open to new discoveries!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversations about everything!! Sharing memories, experiences and knowledges is always pleasure.
