I realized the other day that most of the things I like begin with the letter S, so I'll just start listing them:

PHILOSOPHY

I have a degree in philosophy that I don't like to really talk about but I figure I have to mention.

So, understanding the universe and where we are is inherently futile, but there's a lot to gain from trying to do it anyway. Since we can't explain why we're here, what the point of living is, etc., we're free to make up whatever answer we want for those questions. That's pretty liberating.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lots of amateur surfing, from Virginia to Chicago and in between.

I spent the entire summer semester of law school couch surfing. Seriously.

Interests

As far as non-S interests go, I like absurdism-- it came at a very good time in my life. I also like modern art, Kurt Vonnegut, growing lettuce, playing guitar badly and listening.
