About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am a Master student in international and public affairs. I'm from Montreal (QC). I am a quite an easygoing person very talkactive, who likes outdoors activities, I can come up as shy if you do not know me but I find ways to break the ice, and make people feel comfortable.
For those who use CS as a dating site: stay away. Thanks!
____________
I love sports, drawing and reading. I am always down for some sightseeing, museum’s visits or movies marathons. My schooling background is in politics, therefore I am very interested in history, human rights, science, economics, and international relations.
I hate routine and mostly feel claustered at home so I have tons of things on my to-do/to-see list!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
WHEN HOSTING : I am on CS to share experience and tips and extend my friends' list!
Please read this: Please respect my household and our belongings. I prefer hosting an independent person as I am not always free to hangout and I work during all week. I.e. Sun’s is out, don’t be a potato pouch! Everyone shares the expenses/chores in my home, we share meals and utilities.
I host people for ONE or TWO days. Don’t send me a request for a full week, months or the whole year, I’m most likely to decline without any explanation.
I am a local Montrealer and it's my pleasure to meet new faces and people who pass by the city, from different backgrounds. I'd like to make more acquaintances and maybe friends! I know a lot of good spots, cute cafés, parks, shopping areas, etc. that I am happy to share with others. I can share tips about where to shop, do groceries, best food spots, local events, outdoor/indoor activities. I can help you with finding stores and utilities during your stay.
WHEN NOT HOSTING : I'd love to meet wonderful people during my trip(s). I have been using Airbnb more often than CS but it has been a great experience as I was in touch with locals who showed me their city, introduced me to their relatives and friends, gave me good travel tips, and took me to cool events!
Interests
I like photography, music and reading.
Learning new languages is my passion and I am always curious to learn a few words/sentences in another language. I usually understand languages easily and do my best to have an exchange with people.
I practice hot yoga, meditation, and keep myself updated about the world that we live in.
