Hello! I am Douwe, born in the Netherlands with a Brazilian mother and a German/Dutch father. I have travelled quite a few times to Brazil to visit family. I like learning new things, reading, playing guitar, watching good movies/series, and seeing new places. I am a calm person who enjoys company, but manages really well being by myself.

I study fine art and work in a vegan restaurant.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music taste is extremely diverse. I love metal, jazz, bossa nova, soul, but also rap, classical, etc. Depends on the mood.
Lost in Translation is my favorite movie. The Lord of the Rings trilogy will probably always stay next to that one. I always enjoy some Tarantino, Wes Anderson, David Lynch, and many others.
I have the tendency to buy many books and not read them, or only partly. The most recent one I read was Kafka’s metamorphosis, and I loved it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don’t know what qualifies as amazing, maybe I haven’t done any, or I’m just not easily impressed by what I do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am able to teach some guitar playing to a beginner, but nothing about music theory or advanced playing.
I am open to many things that I would like to learn, I love listening.
