About Me
Hello everyone!
My name is Anna and my hometown is Poltava, which is in Ukraine. I have spent lots of time in this little town and did not travel at all until I turned 17.
As I graduated from school and moved to another city, I started my journey in organizing climate marches, traveling abroad, and meeting people with different backgrounds.
I remember organizing my first climate marsh in 2019. There were about 160 people and it was such an impossible event for me. After that, I started looking for some other social projects and volunteering opportunities.
One of my greatest experiences was teaching Syrian refugee kids English for 2 months in Turkey.
While I was studying in the U.S. as an exchange student for 4 months, once my friend offered me to travel with her by Couchsurfing. That experience was so bright and great and I just became a big fan of CS. So I started traveling only with meeting people from this amazing community!
After the full scale invasion in Ukraine, I moved by chance to Switzerland and have been living in Zurich for over a year, working as Project Assistant for research projects.
Now I am based in Lausanne, pursuing my Master's at EPFL in Sustainable Management and Technology.
