My current mission objectives? To not take life too seriously... And do all the good that I can while I'm living on this borrowed time.

ABOUT ME

Well, I'm a pretty simple person. I work 8 to 5, I have a child, and I enjoy playing online games like World of Warcraft and Second-Life. I have met a lot of the people I play with in real life... I love to make friends and to keep friends. I am a paraprofessional teacher at a charter school, and I'm a sucker for a good game of cards or dice. I'm also a Facebook fan, and I love to keep in touch with old friends. Feel free to add me!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is very simple. The time I'm living on is borrowed time. I'm going to prove to God that I love this borrowed time by doing as much good as I possibly can for my entire life!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't really had any experience myself being a single mom and all, but being on the receiving end, I used to be a missionary's kid, and when we'd come back to the states, I remember sleeping on a lot of couches as we traveled around. I loved it!

Interests

Well, my interests range from cultural to just plain nerdy. I love plays and unusual art. I'm also a sucker for an old chick flick, or even some of the older horror flicks like the old Psycho. I love video games and chatting online - since I don't get out much and I am a social creature by nature. I love good movies - comic book movies. Thrillers and action flicks!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a hardcore Family Guy fan - gotta have it on a weekly basis or a I get a little crazy. :) I love all the Transformers movies, and on an more serious note, I adore comic book movies, like X-Men and the Green Hornet. Thrillers and action flicks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to live in Russia with my parents who were military and then later missionaries. I've seen some amazingly beautiful things, but the most amazing thing I've ever seen were the cathedrals of the Russian Orthodox Church. Little else has been as beautiful those churches.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think the only thing I could teach honestly would be my experience as a single mother. I've had a rough lief, but I have to say that I'm still learning. The only thing I specialize in is knowing that there's always something else to learn. Learning from someone else is, by example, the best way to teach.
