A boy from a small town in Lithuania, discovering the world and myself. Currently studying Software Engineering at the University of Nottingham and I am having a lot of fun getting to know the city and the people. Graduating this year, thus my plan to get away from books to explore the rest of the UK with my lovely friend Kamilė.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling, travelling, travelling and then travelling some more! I am new to couchsurfing so I am hoping to meet new people, learn about new cultures and someday return the favor!

Interests

I really like technology and computers but the most important thing for me is to make something that did not exist before. Therefore I chose programming as I can solve problems and create new things that can help people. I like to be creative and curious hence my interest in photography and film making; I have picked this hobby as a way to capture the world and would love to create a short movie one day. Just give me a guitar and I'll be playing for hours.

I listen to a variety of music but I really like street singers, alternative, rock, post rock, psychodelic rock, jazz and blues.
Alice Phoebe Lou, King Krule, Connan Mockasin, Radiohead, King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard are in my playlist right now.
The Little Prince is my favourite book.
Favourite movies include anything done by Richard Linklater (Waking Life, Before trilogy), David Lynch (Twin Peaks, Rabbits). I have seen Friends too many times and my favourite show right now is Mr. Robot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a night in the woods in the middle of nowhere with my friends, playing songs and enjoying the nature, that's the first thing that came to my mind, although I believe there are many more.

I love to learn new things, but I have been told that I am good at teaching as well. I can teach you Lithuanian, guitar playing or programming. Would always like to learn more german.
