Overview
About Me
I am a freshly-graduated contemporary dancer and maker. Originally coming from beautiful Lithuania, I have studied dance in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) since 2015. In the season 2018-2019, I have been living and doing my internship in Bangkok (Thailand) and Gothenburg (Sweden).
Art and education, in my opinion, are the core of our culture and I feel blessed and responsible for being an artist.
My interests mainly occupy various artistic disciplines, starting of course with dance, but also music, cinema, fine arts.
I am fascinated by bodies, their possibilities, and their cultural significances.
Every day I want to know more and more, and I feel that I know less and less. This drives me to never stop being curious, to always do my best to stay open for new experiences, cultures, people, opinions.
Fairness and honesty are two values that I believe will lead me to a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Pragmatic reasons, first of all.
However, I try to step out of my comfort zone and embrace the awkward. I believe this platform allows for that.
