ABOUT ME
All about me? Wow, cramming life into words -
I am an English major, music and poetry minor at UNC Chapel Hill from Auburn, Alabama. I like to play music and write poetry, and perform with my band Lafcadio around North Carolina.
I like reading anything interesting (Cormac McCarthy right now), writing music, listening to music (Department of Eagles and Midlake), eating really really spicy food, and staying up til the wee small hours of the morning.
I try to be easygoing wherever I travel and enjoy the raw experience of all the crazy things in the world. Come stay with me if you're in the area!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first couchsurfed one year ago in Thailand. I could have stayed in hostels, but CouchSurfing provided a way to make connections in a way not otherwise possible. All my best experiences in Thailand stemmed from CouchSurfing. Word.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can teach you how to ride a bike, cross your eyes, make a great grilled cheese, play guitar, bass, or harmonica, speak spanish, write a sonnet, sing a football cheer, play chess, checkers, or go, throw a frisbee, pack a backpack, or do a handstand. That's it and that's all, folks!
Learn:
I want to learn how to speak mandarin, plow a field, windsurf, skydive, play hammer dulcimer, use an arc-welder, beat a south korean at go, wrestle an alligator, and learn how to make love stay.
Share:
I can share peace, hope, and a little personal experience, in addition to books, food, shelter, and any other necessities we are bound to share in this helter skelter.
