ABOUT ME

I'm an American living in London! (woohoo!) I'm currently studying photojournalism at University of the Arts in London.

I've been photographing professionally for the past 3-4 years and recently began specialising in covering war, conflict, protests, and refugees. So far this year I have photographed in Ireland, all over England, France, Egypt, Bahrain, and Libya, so lots of stories to tell!

I am a pretty outgoing person. I like meeting new people and travelling wherever my budget allows (when I'm not in some far away place working). As far as movies and music go, I don't really have any favourites in particular, but if I like the song or the movie then I'll listen to it or watch it, it doesn't really matter who the artist is.

For sports, I really like any sport that gives and adrenaline rush. Especially downhill mountain biking, surfing, skiing, rock climbing, and sailboat racing, maybe some day I'll try skydiving.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to live my life on the edge a lot of the time. Whether that may be working on a project, or taking a risk during a dangerous sport, it's all part of the fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in South/London (Zone 3, 30min to central door to door). I may be able to host you depending on my uni schedule. If I can't host you, I'll at least be able to meet you for a pint or give you a bit of a tour.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed only in London a few times before I moved here and each time was awesome. Yet to host someone though!

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to or watch most anything, I have a pretty open mind when it comes to movies and music. As far as books go, I don't read as often as I used to, so I don't have too many favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have photographed in various conflict zones throughout the world, which as amazing as that might seem, its actually quite a sobering experience.
