About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to offer to others what I would hope for myself!
ABOUT ME
I am very giving, honest and humble. I work very hard for what I earn and I make sure that my friends and family are well taken care of. I believe in the campsite rule whilst staying with friends (leave the place better than you found it), and I also appreciate great conversation and insight. My mind is wide open to new ideas and possibilities, and I never take what I have for granted.
PHILOSOPHY
Campsite Rule: Leave the place you are visiting better than you found it. Treat peoples property like it is your own. Remember what my mother taught me about nice manners :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At this point,I have yet to host my first couch surfer! Being open to this community should bring upon new experiences and friends and I'm excited to meet new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First time couch surfing my band was on tour to E. Washington ( Tri- Cities) and was able to crash on the couch after a long night of performing and early bird TV appearance. The host, Ray, treated us like a true friend and it is an experience we've never forgotten. To this day we stay in touch and look forward to having him stay with us in Seattle.
Interests
I am a musician from Seattle, son of a band teacher and jazz musician, so I'd have to say music is my lifetime engagement! Aside from performing/touring and working at a radio station, I am outdoorsy and enjoy snowboarding, camping, hiking, sailing!!, skateboarding when my knees are strong, basketball and reading. Most of my time is spent working, rehearsing, songwriting and getting ready for performances and tours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Favorite moment: Sailed from Ko Olina with friends on their boat, anchored and then snorkel dived around coral reef with tropical fish, then enjoyed a bbq on the boat. When we returned to the marina he sold his boat for $10,000 and the deal was that he had one last adventure with it, and that was with me!
Another moment: Watching the perseid meteor shower while sailing at night in the San Juans. Quite amazing
Teach, Learn, Share
In order to learn to play the guitar you'll need to at least have an adequate working instrument (strings, pick and strap are also priority) and a metronome. Each finger on the fretting hand is important, so don't let them tuck back and away, keep them all hovering above the frets. When fretting a note to sound, be sure to pinch down using the tips of your fingers and in the corner of the fret (the vertical bars) on the side closest to your strumming hand. This ensures the string will sound and resonate fully. Give yourself time to practice 20mins-1hour a day, use the metronome!! It's your best friend. Have fun and google search for songs and lessons, they're everywhere
