ABOUT ME

I am a easy going and adventurous PhD student planning on seeing as much of the world as I can before I graduate. I am very open minded and a lifelong learner. I can easily strike up a conversation about anything, sports, current events, movies, life philosophies, economics, etc

PHILOSOPHY

In the great words of Steve Jobs- Our time here on Earth is limited, so don't waste it living someone else'€™s life. Don'€™t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people'€™s thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. I try to live my life to the fullest and take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way.

I also think of life as a giant book of experiences, and those who do not travel have only read one page.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am doing a bike trip down the Pacific Coast after I defend my thesis and hoping to meet some great people and places to stay along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing as made me realize just how many genuine and amazing people there are in this world, it has been really great so far.

兴趣

I have played many sports competitively including hockey, rugby, soccer, basketball, and football. I also ski and play tennis, squash and golf.
I play piano a lot still, love jam sessions
Love the outdoors, have gone on many canoe trips, hiking expeditions and climbed extensively in the Rocky Mountains.
Really interested in all aspects of science and keeping up with current events.
