My mission is to enjoy myself while being responsible and giving back to the earth and to those less fortunate than myself.

ABOUT ME

I live with my girlfriend in Los Angeles. Culver City to be specific. I have a sweet vintage tandem bicycle & I'd love to take you for a ride. I read a lot. I like Indian food. I hunt deer for the meat. I am a songwriter & released a solo CD way back in 2007; I've written several more songs recently. Some years back I restored a historic apartment complex in Milwaukee's inner-city, now home to >50 refugees from Burma; I am a (mostly) absentee landlord, but hopefully a responsible one.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly as a host. Did one night of surfing in Buenos Aires & one night in Guatemala. During summer of '08 I hosted a number of travelers in Milwaukee.

While living in NYC (2009-2011), I hosted many CSers and it has always been a great experience. In Charleston (2011-2014) I hosted here & there and also used CS to meet local kindred spirits. Looking to do more of the same in L.A.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One night in Buenos Aires, one night in Guatemala. My Argentine host also took a group of CS people out to a club. We had a blast. I have hosted numerous people at my place as well.

I attended the 2006 World Cup in Deutschland, the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and the 2014 World Cup in Brasil. I have also played soccer against comedy luminaries Jon Stewart and Mike Myers.
