ABOUT ME

You will probably always see a smile on my face, what can I say I love life. I'm really open minded, and am always eager to hear different and new ideas. How else will you learn? I study philosophy at the University of Iowa, but ultimately want to go to law school, and studied law at the University of Hull in England for a year. I love to have fun and do stupid things that my friends and I can laugh about later. I like a variety of things from sci fi, to sports, to pretty much whatever. Always try to find the fun and beauty in everything.

PHILOSOPHY

Always developing new ideas and practices (human progression is such a great thing). I agree with a lot about what John Stuart Mill says (probably less Utilitarian though). Also agree with Kant on an issue or two. I hold the Principle of Universalization important, after all we are all humans and are not too different. With that in mind, I think it is extremely important to treat everyone with respect and love and search for peaceful compromises.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am a student that won't be living at a permanent residence (for a year) for a while, so I'm not doing much hosting (the past 3 years I have lived in a tiny room). In the future I hopefully will have a place open for other travelers. Luckily though, I've always lived in a somewhat dull place that no one would really want to visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand new to this. Never traveled much before now. However, since I am in Europe, I thought it would be a great opportunity to see new places and meet new people. This site looked like it would help me with this journey.

Intereses

Learning about all different things, meeting new people with new outlooks on life, having fun with friends. I love to make memories to, even if it involves me making a fool of myself.
