About Me

I'm a very cheerful, happy, enthusiastic and talkative person with a very strong passion towards studying. My main field is the anthropology of religion, so I'm your type of couchsurfer if you turn into a philosopher after a glass of wine. :)

Aside from this, I'm very fond of dogs, literature, singing (usually in choirs), and photography. I have a Fujifilm X-T10 that is practically glued to my hands lately.

I'm totally new to couchsurfing in the sense that I never visited anyone, but I have met up people before in Finland via Couchsurfing, so that's something. :)

I can host people in this month (April) because my roomie is away so her place is available :)

Thanks for dropping in, and have a nice day!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Going to the cinema is one of my favourite things, so it's very difficult for me to pick one favourite film. Usually, I enjoy those films that are lighthearted but still have a message they want to get across, a recent example is Zootropolis/Zootopia. Oh and my favourite black-and-white film is Ida.

Books: although he is not my favourite author by all means, I am quite knowledgeable on Tolkien, I even took a university course on his work!, so if you start talk about The Lord of the Rings with me, chances are I will soon blow you away with details and behind-the-scenes facts about his work. :)
My favourite books are either by Dostoevsky or by Tolstoy, though it's really diffcult to pick one, and I'm very keen on Russian literature in general.

I'm also very fond of poems. They are like macaroons: small and intricate, you eat them quickly, but they give great delight to those consuming them. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I woke up on an airplane with having a giant Moomin sitting next to me, but turns out daddy was just about to surprise his kid who was waiting for him at the airport. :) <3
