Overview
About Me
Time flies in Cambridge, doing what I love (and hate?) most - research. Originally from a winemakers town in the south-east of Italy which I still visit for its beautiful seaside.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Met some amazing individuals through this, hence I'm supportive of the underlying philosophy. But unlikely to host right now as I'm not as flexible as I used to - and some guests really test that. Admittedly being a bit of an old fart lately
Interests
Music and people worth listening to, keeping in fairly decent shape, pretending to know how to play the guitar, looking for answers in books, spontaneous travelling.
Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is mostly on the heavier and messy side - just like life :) But I am open to give anything a go.
All time favourite writers include Alan Watts, Bertrand Russell, and Luigi Pirandello. Lately I've enjoyed the poetry of Michel Houellebecq and the odd call to put your shit together from J.B. Peterson. Sorry to disappoint you.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being unable to find my way out an old cemetery I was meant to just walk past while doing the Skyline walk in Bath under a raging thunderstorm. It was surreal.
Teach, Learn, Share
Passionate about most things concerning music, philosophy (especially after a few glasses of wine), and cooking (I make a mean tiramisu, or at least so I'm told). Lately I also tried Aikido and became intersted in the self-development aspects of martial arts.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you stick with me you can visit the colleges for free.
