ABOUT ME

Hei, I'm Carmen from Schwedt in the very east of Germany. When I'm not travelling I am studying environmental engineering in Magdeburg. I'm interested in foreign countries and cultures. I love to travel, but not only sight-seeing in one day and go on with the next city, but more to see the world from the eyes of the people, who are living there. So I was living in Petrozawodsk (Russia), for half a year, took part in an outdoor workshop in the Georgian Caucasus region, in a Youth Exchange in The Netherlands and Ireland as well. ... Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time I did couchsurfing was in Belgium staying in the house of Russian girl. I just changed my plan not only to see Brussels, but also a city close to Brussels, where she was living. And it was worth it not only getting to know an aditional place, but also discussing about everything and anything.

In Brazil I just wanted to stay a few nights in the house of my host. Finally he and his three flat mates offered me to stay with them the rest of my half year.
