ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small farming community in SE North Dakota, went to college in Moorhead, MN and have been working the past 20+ years business software industry. I have two grown sons one of which is married and has a son of his own. I am on a journey to discover more of my true self through holistic and organic foods and focusing on spiritual growth (which has nothing to do with religion). I am open to the journey of others and welcome their story.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing, but am looking at going to Peru in November of 2012. My family has had luck with surfing on a recent trip to England so I thought I'd try this out and become a host at the same time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Depending on my mood, I love lots of different kinds of movies. Action, drama, comedy, thriller, etc. About the only kind of music I don't care for is rap, but even some of that is pretty good. As I type this I'm listening to Clint Black, but a moment ago I was listening to Chevelle. Books, I tend to like non-fiction. I just finished reading 29 Gifts by Cami Walker.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done so far is raise two boys who have grown to be some amazing young men. I love them very much!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn Spanish and other foreign languages. I'd prefer to live immersed in the culture to learn if possible. I can teach people about basic to intermediate computer skills including internet. I'm also a Reiki and Reconnective Healing practitioner so I could give you a healing session if you like.
