About Me
As a member of couch surfing since 2005 this community has been a conduit to some of the most amazing people I've ever met! What started out as a neat idea for a student to travel on a budget has turned into an adventure that has broadened my perspective and introduced me to cultures that I would never have met otherwise. I have the pleasure of hosting much more than being hosted and with each person that visits makes the world just a little smaller.
If you are traveling in the Baton Rouge/ New Orleans area I'd love to be a way-point on your map. Even if you are just passing through feel free to pick my brain on fun things to do in the area, tourists traps to avoid and hole in the wall "must sees"
Finally, if anyone in New Orleans bets you they can tell you where you got your shoes, tell em, "I got em on my feet!"
ABOUT ME
I love to work with my hands, and any of my friends will tell you I can build just about anything. I own a business which works in a number of different creative industries from haunt and attractions, to Theatrical and even medical simulation.
I am an avid outdoors man, and love to explore. I have been hiking and camping since I was a kid. I also Skydive as often as time affords.
I also work as a wild life rehabilitator helping orphaned baby animals grow strong as well as taking care of injured animals while they heal so they can be released back int the wild.
I regularly attend Burning Man and love how well the principles of BRC apply to Couch surfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Attending Burning Man is one of my favorite things to do, I'm fortunate enough to be a member of the pyro crew so now to call it "home" has a whole new meaning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My guest room is a private room with a queen bed. Full shower next to the bedroom that is all yours, as well as washer and dryer if you'd like to freshen up your clothes. Great coffee, probably wine, and a private back yard that is smoker friendly. I have chickens and you are more then welcome to raid the coop for fresh eggs. (Please don't eat the birds)
