I am an 19 year old student of mathematics at the University Cambridge, born in Zagreb, Croatia. Currently residing halfway between Cambridge,England and mu hometown of Samobor,Croatia. Definitely open minded, adventurous, liberal, communicative and very interested in exploring new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and experiencing different types of culture and lifestyle. I feel like being hosted/hosting enables you to get a better insight of the country or a place that you are visiting than staying in a hotel does. That is why I think Couchsurfing is a great idea.

Interests

At my university I study mathematics and I would say that is one of my primary interests. I also enjoy sports, especially football and tennis. Travelling and sightseeing various places is one thing that enables me to get away from my life routine - and gives an opportunity to realise what I really value and discover who I really am.

Music, Movies, and Books

Various types of music, perhaps old rock would be my favourite.
Favorite book - Zahir by Paulo Coelho. Love Coelho's work in general.
Favourite movie - too hard to pick, but if I had to I would go for Pulp Fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really love hitchiking, from recently pretty much the only way I travel around Europe. Once, with a friend, I hitched all the way from London to Barcelona - an amazing experience, changing 17 different vehicles and meeting many many interesting people :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Even though I am very young, I have visited almost all the countries in Europe which gave me an insight into many different world views. My interest in hitchiking is responsible for me having a wide range of funny, positive and unusual experiences which I love to talk about.
