ABOUT ME

I used to be a student in comparative literature, writing a thesis on the idea of history in Borges and Eco's works. I read a lot and I like to share my impressions and my knowledge with interested and interestiong people. I should really start writing my own books soon, I have one or two great ideas!! I'm working on getting a musical band too, though it's hard to choose between all kinds of music that I'd like to play. I should start the first trad-prog-indie-post-rock band.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a lot of people sleeping at home in summer '09, my ex-roomates couldn't say no to any request they had! Most of the reviews they have actually apply to me too. (cf. Olivier and Roxanne Marcil profile). But overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I wish for it to continue.

music : traditional, progressive rock, some scandinavian metal bands (Opeth, Katatonia, Pain of Salvation), Radiohead of course, good music comes from UK, Smashing Pumpkins, Karkwa (Québec's best band), some early century classical (Stravinsky, Ravel, Debussy), post-rock (Sigur Ros, GYBE, Explosions in the Sky), Interpol, 80s (a guilty pleasure)
