Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy hosting people from all over the world and hearing about their amazing travels. I like to meet new people and see what they care about and what makes them happy.

I also love staying with couchsurfers when I travel. My experiences surfing in Denali National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, and Missoula were many times better because I had a local host.

I love everything by Dan & Chip Heath. Switch: How to Make Change When Change is Hard is my favorite book of all time. I love other books about how people think. I also enjoy travel adventure books, business books, fantasy, and books about anything interesting in the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am hiking the Pacific Crest Trail one state at a time. Summer 2015 I hiked 500 miles and crossed the state of Oregon. This past summer I hiked the state of Washington, 530 miles. California PCT, here I come!

What I Can Share with Hosts

When I stay with people, I'm happy to help out if you need anything. I could also make you veggie burgers or plantain tacos, my favorite meals. :P I'm always super grateful for a place to stay and a local's take on the area.
