About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Conquer my mind so every moment is lived as fully as possible.

ABOUT ME

I've had every job from bus driver to farmer, web designer to direct support. Inward and outward exploration seem to be my real professions. I love to travel and have recently gotten very interested in the travel inside as well, deepening my understanding of human potential.

PHILOSOPHY

There is always more to learn, more to see, life keeps getting bigger and I love to share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a couch in New York City years back that was white corduroy and covered in sharpie drawings from all the people that visited. That's where the name comes from. The past year I've spent mostly living out of a tent on a farm. The future will probably have me offering something a little more sturdy than a tent, but probably still connected to some food producing land.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started with a wwoofing trip across the country. When I wasn't on a farm in country I would stay on couches in the cities. They make a wonderful combo.

Interests

Meditation, yoga, permaculture, the autistic spectrum.

Music, Movies, and Books

Skinny Legs and All by Tom Robbinson was the last book that blew me away... The Televisionary Oracle by Rob Brezney is also fantastic. That kinda describes my taste in entertainment. Wildly exciting with some seriously intriguing otherworldly concepts thrown in and taken seriously. Seemingly inanimate objects just operate to slow for us to notice. As for music: Nahko Bear is the beat of the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Joshua Tree on top of a rock in the middle of night and talked softly people a mile away. It was so simple but I still breaks my mind thinking about it. I highly recommend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk endlessly about permaculture, religion, and many other subjects, but I'd much rather listen.
