About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just taking life one day at a time
ABOUT ME
I've recently moved to BrizVegas from Sydney. I'm a huge fan of the outdoors (which is tough since most of my friends aren't!). I'm friendly, open minded and easy going. I'm keen to experience big, exciting places and events, but I'm probably happiest during the serene moments of travel - sitting on top of a mountain, a deserted beach, a Buddhist temple... you get the idea.
PHILOSOPHY
So many of the world's problems would be solved if we all smiled more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surfed a lot in the States and a bit in Fiji, NZ and Japan and have hosted a few times. I love making new friends and I'm still in touch with a lot of the people I met through this awesome project.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So many positive experiences, my travels wouldn't have been nearly as much fun without CS.
Interests
Anything outdoors mostly. Love being active: hiking, camping, hitting the beach, playing sport etc. Also enjoy a social drink (or 2). I also have a nerdy streak - I love history, going to zoos (but only the animal friendly ones - if you're wondering, my favourite so far is Australia Zoo, Steve Irwin's little project), museums, and sometimes even art galleries!

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: all sorts, but mostly action and comedy movies (boy movies!).
Music: I like just about anything, but mostly listen to rock and hip hop.
Books: Mostly quirky, original stuff. Favourite books are To Kill a Mockingbird, Catch 22, Pilo Family Circus and the Hithhikers Guide to the Galaxy series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing on the cliffs of Kings Canyon in the Northern Territory (the centre of Australia) when I was 11 years old, the view was incredible. My first time snowboarding wasn't far off.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a little bit about lots of things, enough that I can have a conversation about almost anything. Best thing I can share is my knowledge of English (so if you ever wondered what a 'split infinitive' is, or what ironic really means...).
Countries I’ve Visited
Fiji, Japan, New Zealand, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia
