About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see the world, life live and grow as a person and filmmaker

ABOUT ME

I am a very open-minded, curious, active and friendly person. I love to meet new people and get to know their ideas of life and what their goals, hopes and dreams are.
Because I am a filmmaker I am really interested in listening to people's stories, in what they have experienced and learnt from life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences were in general great, I had a wonderful time couchsurfing the U.S. east coast in summer 2008 and experienced hospitality and friendliness I didn't believe existed.
I would love to couchsurf again because it's just a lot of fun and a wonderful experience- spending time with local people, that know the places you visit better than any tourist guide or book.

Interests

I am a total film nerd. I love going to the movies, meeting friends and hanging out with them and of course travelling. I want to travel the whole world and see as many places as possible with my own eyes and meet people from everywhere!

I am also interested in photography, foreign politics and affairs, in all aspects of life :) I am in general very curious and open-minded!

What I can't stand is injustice of all kinds...social, political, personal... I have a strong sense of justice and always like to help.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies! Some of favorites are: Crash, Blue Valentine, Head-On, Black Swan, The Life of Others, Pan's Labyrinth, Europa Europa, No Country for Old Men, Whiplash, The Hunt, Still Alice and many old classics as well as documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing thing I have seen so far- even though it might not sound that special- is the Grand Canyon. But it was just incredible to see this vast stretched out landscape. One feels so small compared to this huge structure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you German (even some difficult grammar) and how to cook some German dishes, as well as the basics in filmmaking and photography.

I would love to learn new languages...Spanish would be great and I would like to improve my French. But any other language skills are fine, too. :)
I am also eager to meet other filmmakers to exchange ideas and just talk about films.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
