I am a 5000 year soul who, at the same time, has yet to be born.

I have made this life more complicated than it need be,
by thinking rather than feeling,
creating intricate explanations for why,
as opposed to listening to the emotional what and how.
Often I have met the challenges in my life with extreme shifts, either within my character or in my surrounds.
Conscious of this,
I hope to become aware of the nuances permeating these moments and move beyond my current self
to become less a internalized individual and more
a conscious collaborator.
To appreciate process as well as product.

I have been given great kindness by hosts from various points on the map. My gratitude for the hospitality, support, wisdom, and friendship is more than I can express, although I hope I've been able to contribute something in my visits. I have also deeply enjoyed my time of service, of giving back, and providing for others what has been blessed onto me.

Outside of my obsessive micro-universe, I like to ride my bike, juggle, fall in love, drink coffee, draw maps, write poems, chuckle slyly, and find creative ways of making sure the government pays me more than I pay them.

I love people's hair (especially big hair and dreadlocks), tattoos (into trees and compasses these days) and piercings.

Onyx waves behind as night gained on us, lapping silks on our sides that can only be described as a silver-blue-metallic sheen. And before us! Oh, as we desperately reached to catch the falling sun, our eyes were mesmerized by the faint shimmer of nearly translucent gold, a treasure, thin as skin, floating on the surface.
