ABOUT ME

Life is amazing. I can't even begin to think of how to describe these beautiful 27 years on Earth... What I do know is that I am here to learn and share and there is nothing more fulfilling than following the hearts calling. My travels and experiences have taken me to so many places, within and without, all of which have been great teachers. I recently completed my 18 week Birthing/Post Partum Doula course and am ready to assist women and babies in their beautiful birth journey. I am most passionate about consciousness, people empowerment and listening to our intuitions. I believe in the magic of our intentions and that each one of us is a healer, lover and magical bundle of miracles. Wonderful elders have taught me the importance of listening and that the connection people have with their life is formless and therefore there is no "one way".

PHILOSOPHY
Truth is love. And I find comfort in a telescope.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to host when the sedentary life takes over and my kitchen is bursting with fermentations, good jazz and candle light dinners! Perhaps a little jam session with my plethora of instruments?

Until then, I am surfing and networking to explore the differences and uniqueness of people and to share and expand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Albuquerque, Fargo (with another friend on his account) and Boudha in Nepal. I have found this site to be an awesome way to connect and am looking so forward to hosting in the near future! Kauai anyone? ;)

Plants, animals and planets!! Music, dance, art!! Writing, reading, pondering life over a steaming cup of fresh espresso when all you have is time and the vast splendor of your infinite imagination...

And birth! The wonders of humanity and the divinity of man and woman. I can talk about birth, whales, spirituality and plants for hours.

Oh, and thrift stores. I love a good, cheap thrift store.

There is at least a handful of songs of each genre out there that I love, my favorites being more folk right now, but I can bust a move to anything.

As for books, I guess I read to study and inspire myself to learn more so I read mostly non-fiction. Open to suggestions!

I can also be invisible and let you live your life as if I wasn't there- whatever your needs are, I am here to give not to take away from your energy. I am considerate, compassionate and genuinely interested in what inspires you.

Having lived in small towns, I can talk story until the cows come home. Having grown up in the city, I can quietly read and keep to myself.
