Overview
About Me
Adventure enthusiast, engineer by mistake and social entrepreneur by choice.
The best part about knowing what i want to write about myself is that it has all been a journey of self discovery, from endurance cycling jouneys to walking expeditions. Read on, there's a lot of amazing stuff up ahead!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly, i find Couchsurfing to be one of the coolest ideas that anyone has ever come up with. Having stayed with hosts across India just like that, Couchsurfing makes the experience a possibility for everyone, even if you're shy.
So go ahead, get a couch and meet new people. There's a different world out there to be explored.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorites are always the most difficult questions, but since you ask, David Bowie tops the charts for music and Kerouac with On The Road for books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If it has to be just one, will have to be my 2500km cycle journey along with a friend, Ujjawal Chauhan, across India in the summer of 2014. From the East Coast (Kolkata) to the West (Mumbai), we literally did cycle across the country!
You can read more on my website, we called it the "Madness Project".
Later, i went on to walk 700kms across the Indian state of Rajasthan and called it 'Walking Back to My Roots'. You can find media related to both of these adventures and more on my social media profiles.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Tons of stories and experiences to share with my hosts, surely to keep them wrapped up in long conversations.
But apart from the regular answer, there's a lot of knowledge on endurance expeditions that i could share, also about social entrepreneurship, early childhood education and even media development. What i could also share is my photography skills and help the host with a small portfolio shoot for their business.
Look forward to seeing you, kind person!
