ABOUT ME

Originally from Chicago. I've been using Chiang Mai as a home base since the end of 2005. I'm a grad student at Chulalongkorn University studying Southeast Asian Studies, so I am generally in between Bangkok and Chiang Mai these days.

I'm an exploration junkie. Whether it's Chiang Mai, the rest of Thailand, or all of Asia, I try to get into local culture as much as possible.

Big fan of Karen Armstrong, Hermann Hesse, Tom Robbins and Haruki Murakami. Self proclaimed fantasy geek. I'll read 10 book 1000 page series like it's my job.
