ABOUT ME

Hello World,

Lets see... I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Maceonia, graduated from the University of Washington double majoring in a B.A. of Communication and Comparative Religion with a minor in Near Eastern Studies.

My parents are both from Colombia, however I am American born in the amazing city of Seattle. If your ever in the area let me know and I'll show you a good time.

what else... oh people consider me a funny guy, so that's nice too. I've tried stand-up comedy; we'll see if i decide to continue in it.

(I'm trying to get to the point to who I am but this is more of struggle than I had anticipated. Its not like I don't know who I am. Its just hard to put me into words haha)

Anyways... continuing, I am, as you can probably already tell, all over the place. I consider myself and try to be as diverse as possible in every aspect. My wardrobe would be a good example of this because I can find formal, hipster, urban , baggy, tight, athletic, casual, brown, green, purple (i love purple for some reason), all types of shoes. I find Chuck Taylor to some of the most diverse shoes. Them shoes look nice with almost everything. I Love Shoes! And fashion.

And Basketball! When I was younger I dreamed of becoming a NBA superstar. Now I just wish I had the time to play. I played in High School. I also played soccer. GO COLOMBIA!

PHILOSOPHY

There is always something positive out of every experience. Therefore don't limit yourself from opportunities. I try to say "yes" to as many opportunities that present themselves because you just never know what the end result will be.

Interests

Some of my hobbies include playing Basketball or really any sport. I pretty competitive when it comes to games.

I love music, especially discovering new music at a concert.

Obviously, traveling is a big interest. I feel like there is so much perspective I have been able to gain from my travels and usually is a direct result from the people I meet.

FOOD! I'll eat anything that is edible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite artists include Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Coldplay, Mr. Hudson, Matisyahu, Gym Class Heroes, Outkast, Jack Johnson, Michael Jackson, Bob Marely, Celia Cruz, pretty much anything that I consider creative and honest music. For me musicians should be honest to who they are therefore their lyrics should represent their ideas and backgrounds.

I'm currently teaching myself how to play guitar.

Movies I like include: Italian Job, Godfather, Rush Hour, Crash, Anything that is based on a true story.

BOOKS: Well I wish I read more than I do, but I just don't have the patience to sit through a book. But some good reads include, Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel Garcia Marquez is good.
