About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Laugh when something goes wrong!

ABOUT ME

Would like to think I'm pretty chilled out and relaxed, I tend to take things in my stride and have had some of the best fun when things have gone horribly wrong/not to plan! Just trying to get as much traveling done and see the world before I get into a career in conservation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Due to the unfortunate fact that I currently still live with my parents, as a result of traveling a lot at the moment, i'm afraid I can't host. Althouuuugh, in the unlikely event that someones in Welshpool or Mid Wales and wants a bit of a guided tour, definitely get in touch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have neither hosted or surfed, excited for the first opportunity that comes!

Interests

I'm quite a sporty person, I play rugby for my local club in Wales and also do a lot of running, especially up hills! I'm always keen to try something new. My work passion is generally for working with animals and helping with conservation and the environment, I really love the outdoors, camping, hiking, wild swimming and keeping an eye out for animals. I also really love history and spend a lot of my free time at home visiting castles, museums and country mansions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a pretty amazing month in the North of Australia where I worked with the State Environment Department. I worked in the wildlife park, with the crocodile catching team and liaised with aboriginal countrymen in the outback gaining knowledge about local traditions and foods.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmmmmmmmm tricky one, what do I actually know?! Well I like to think my general knowledge is pretty good, I like a pub quiz, but the areas I know most about are definitely biology and history as I wrote earlier.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Poland, Russian Federation, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
