About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To return the CSing favor, and meet some interesting people along the way!

ABOUT ME

I'm currently attending the University of Pittsburgh for a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Last year, I embarked on a road-trip from the atlantic to the pacific, looking at graduate schools and CSing most of the way. While I'm tied down to one location at the moment, I hope to be enriched by some fellow travelers and show them a great time in the burgh!

One interesting fact: I'm a fraternal twin! No, I canâ

PHILOSOPHY

It’s all about the little things. Never take anything for granted and live each day to the fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After the AMAZING experience I had traveling with CSers last year- its time to give back! I would love to host you and show you a great time in Pittsburgh. I'm looking for CSers that really take the program seriously; I want to get to know you while you stay with me. I love connecting with people on various levels and I hope to add you to my list of friends around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only hosted two couchsurfers so far myself, but I have staying with 7 amazing hosts on my road-trip last year. I absolutely love hosting, so please don't be shy! The only time I have to say no is if I have an approaching exam haha, you understand.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- I love Tarantino, True Romance is probably my favorite, others include, City of God, Royal Tenenbaums, Almost Famous, Lord of the Rings, and Goodfellas. Watching TV shows from start to finish is key- The Wire, Treme, Breaking Bad and The Sopranos are recent views, but I’ve loved 30 Rock, Six Feet Under, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office, Family Guy, Prison Break, and Dexter.

Music- I enjoy most music but usually steer clear of heavy rap and country. Some favorites are The Band, Zach Deputy, Ryan Montbleau Band, Man Man, Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, Ratatat, The Beatles, The New Deal, Soulive, Bob Dylan, String Cheese Incident, Keller Williams, and the list goes on…

Books- favorite authors- David Sedaris, Kurt Vonnegut, Dan Brown, and JRR Tolkien. Honestly, it's been so long since I have read anything besides a text book..its hard to say haha....UPDATE: just finished the dragon tattoo series and have recently started the Game of Thrones...you could say I'm in a series mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A highlight was when I participated in the International Snipe Sailing Regatta in Cabo Frio, Brazil. In addition to enjoying the beautiful scenery and Brazilian culture, I had the opportunity of meeting people from Argentina, Uruguay, Japan, Peru, Bermuda, Canada, and the Bahamas who were also competitors in the event.

Going on a two month road-trip by myself was an amazing experience. Truly enriching and eye-opening. It makes me wonder why more people don't get out. TRAVEL people! See new places, make new contacts, Carpe fucking diem. Once I have my degree, I'm on the road again. There is always more to be seen, and I intend on checking as many places off my list as possible!

Teach, Learn, Share

Have you ever been slacklining? If not you have to try it, I have one and would love to show you!

Also, with my expanding knowledge in the field of Physical Therapy I would love to share any advice I can give you on health, rehab, and fitness. ;)
