About Me

After living in Krakow for four months, I moved to Oahu, with Anna, my wife I met on Couchsurfing.
————————————-
42 but feeling like 30. Below is my profile from Budapest.
————————————-
An American guy living in Budapest for 6+ years now. Love this city and love to explore the rest of the world. I’m extremely open-minded and I create a safe place for everyone, as I celebrate diversity as opposed to shy away from it. From all my travels, what I’ve learned is that human beings will continue being human....despite if we don’t look like each other or speak the same language. We will take care of each other by nature. My goal is to continue that instinct and try to learn from as many cultures as possible. By extending my home to similar open-minded travelers, I am able to continue learning new things, meeting new people, and extending my journey of discovery.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first, to meet fellow travelers and exchange stories. But now, after doing it a year, I feel as I’m part of the backpacking community. Mostly I only host. I used to backpack on a budget years ago, so I understand how useful a couch and a hot shower can be. After hosting for a year, I was inspired by my surfers to get back out and do it again. Recently I strapped on my backpack again and toured through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. I think backpacking is something you can never be too old for. And I plan to continue.
