Overview
About Me
I am from the heartland of the United States, literally growing up on a farm. I moved to NYC after I graduated college and now work at a small non-profit company working to prevent homelessness in New York City. I have a degree in Anthropology and passion for learning about other people and their culture. I am super easy going and can get along with anyone!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel and see the world, but not through the lens of a tourist. I want to meet people my age and who have a different story and history than me. I come from a very insular community in the middle of the USA and I want to build connections with people from all around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music changes depending what mood I am in. But it is usually 90's grunge music or lyrically strong rap music like Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Run the Jewels, Tyler the Creator.
I love to read fiction and non-fiction, the older I get the more drawn to non-fiction I am but it is still hard to beat a good classic novel.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to tell stories and explain American life, but more than that I am a courteous and kind guest who respects the house rules while having fun. I want to get to know my hosts and hopefully make a genuine connection!
