About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Peru trip summer 2015!
ABOUT ME
I was once told I should always be looking forward to something. Travel has come to fulfill that requirement for me. I try to keep the next big thing on the back burner at least as a way to stay sane in a busy world.
PHILOSOPHY
Love God and love your neighbor.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I work, study, eat, sleep, lift, run, and play frisbee.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Mario Rios put me up at his place in Houston as a "welcome to CS" get together. Beyond that, the only couchsurfing I've done is on a couch/ floor while visiting family and friends around the US. I've had about half a dozen road trip experiences with my family and friends. I have also traveled abroad in Europe three times. My favorite thing about travel is the excitement of being in a new place and the the possibility of new experiences.
Interests
I enjoy working with my hands. I enjoy music; I played piano and sang in the choir through high school. I've recently started to study Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The experience has been very humbling. What interests me most about the sport is the physical and mental chess game it presents.

Music, Movies, and Books
Its hard for me to pick an overall favorite genre of music. My mood can swing me from chillin to radiohead one morning and Ladysmith Black Mambazo the next. Books: I get my kicks from escapist literature. I get enough real life from well real life. My favorite movie is Second Hand Lions. When I'm old, I want to be like Michael Cain and Rober Duvall in that movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made my first solo skydive in 2010. I'd be lying if I said it didn't freak me out. Since, I've been toying around with getting certified.
