Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We want to get to know the city as the locals experience it. There is definitely value in seeing some tourist attractions, but it is a special experience to share your city with visitors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Claire met a Couch Surfer at a retreat in BC. It turned out that she was returning home to London on the same flight that we were taking to start our Europe trip. It was one of those "small world" moments that is hard to believe. She was able to host us for a few days while we were staying in London. Now we are just looking to meet more couch surfers throughout Europe and get the authentic cultural experience. After we get home to Canada we are keen to host and share our beautiful city with travelers from around the world.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drew's traveling experiences:
Experiencing the United Kingdom with my highschool rugby team was amazing! How often do you get to experience an amazing foreign country with 30 other fellow students. Billeting with locals of England, Scotland, and Wales was a wonderful experience.

My family and I participated in a house exchange program in Germany and France. A family came and lived in our house while we lived in theirs for a month in each country, what an experience to have a home in another country with a car and everything!
