About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience ALL the adventures life has!

ABOUT ME

I'm an unconventional person that loves having good times. I'm free and completely open-minded. I tutor 3-5 year old children from disadvantaged backgrounds for Americorps and love it! I plan on attending graduate school for Classical Archaeology, while misspending my youth ensuring I live life to the fullest.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live

One quote which I hope to never stop experiencing - The road: the unwalled, wide open, unprotected and endlessly reaching-out road, where there almost never is any predicting of what might occur from one day and one place to the next.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Fight Club, 300, Children of Men, Pulp Fiction, Gladiator, Dances with Wolves, and so many more - I have a deep and abiding love for film and we should have a conversation about it!

Pixies, NIN, Rage Against the Machine, Chemical Brothers, Gorillaz, Radiohead, Shiny Toy Guns, the list goes on and on once more. Open to most anything really.

Caravaggio, Bacon, the Niobid Painter, Seurat - I've studied art for several years at university so for me the real list is who I dislike. I think art is the ultimate human endeavor, one that celebrates the best of what we are capable of.

The Things They Carried, Gates of Fire, Don Quixote, As I Lay Dying, Masters of Rome series, Meditations, and honestly so many I can't recount - suffice it to say I've filled nine bookshelves and they are my pride and joy, allowing me to grow up as a child of the world in an isolated rural town of 1000 people.
