COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When you stay at someone else's place, and you are in a new world and dont know about anything around you, it is always great to have someone offer you a comfy couch, but not a crappy couch that smells weird. Those couches suck.

I hitchhiked around New Zealand in 2007. It was an experience getting rides from doctors, teachers, single parents, a race car driver, an Irish couple bumping EDM on Molly who hooked up a sweet glacier trip, and more. Even stayed in an abandoned mining work shed with tools from who knows when.
