About Me
Hello! My name is Drew. I'm currently a graduate student in Boulder, Colorado, USA. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, and have lived in Berlin and Bangalore, where I worked in physics labs. I love traveling and meeting people with diverse perspectives and interests. I spend a lot of my time in the outdoors. I love music and am passionate about science. I hope to get to know you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy getting to know new people. I've had great experiences hosting friends and strangers, and I enjoy sharing things with travelers. I enjoy the exchange between a host and a guest, from both sides.
Interests
The outdoors and all related activities. Good conversation. Cooking and learning new styles of cooking. Reading and writing.
Both listening to and making music is important to me. I play the violin. I love jazz, hip-hop, classical music, electronic music, folk music, lots of musics! I really like sharing music, too; I can tell you what I've been listening to if you tell me what you're in to.
Music, Movies, and Books
100 Years of Solitude, For Whom the Bell Tolls
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode a bicycle all around Central America.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy learning languages, and I'm curious about a pretty broad cut of art and science and everything between. I'm very passionate about physics, and love sharing it, but only when the moment is right.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share the moment, and good conversation. New music. Maybe even new flavors, cooking is a pretty serious hobby of mine. In fact, I will gladly work in your kitchen should the opportunity arise.
