To travel from Michigan to Los Angeles on The Magic Boat with Captain Cosmos in search of an apperance on the Jay Leno Show.

ABOUT ME

I am an artist, a musician, a thinker, a traveler, and I am fond of all people who offer a smile and even some who do not. All humanity is kin.

I have been volunteering as a music promoter in Michigan and practicing my licks on the many instruments I play in hopes of creating a career for myself in the Music and entertainment business as a performer or manager.

Then came Captain Cosmos, The Magic Boat, and The New Navy.

I love music. I have been playing guitar and singing and entertaining people for 7 years. I have found my groove, especially since The Magic Boat project has lit a fire under my soul and I feel that I have finally reached the skill set and charisma of a professional entertainer.

My mission in life has been found. To entertain, to serve humanity, and to make people smile and give them hope for a better future with the power, creativity and joy of Magic Boat Cars.

The immediate mission at hand is to appear on the Jay Leno Show in order for my captain to tell the story of his many trips around the country to America.

The long term vision is to create a fleet of Magic Boat Cars and found a Non-Profit Organization titled The New Navy intended to raise money and awareness for causes that we feel make the world a better place.

PHILOSOPHY

While so many institutions have created a divide in humanities feeling of brotherhood, art in all forms has a unique ability to bring people together and form communities.

Only at a museum, at the theater, a music and arts festival, or traveling in a Magic Boat Car will you see two people as drastically different as a hippie and a high profile banker getting exciting over the same subject.

I have experienced this cultural phenomenon everywhere I go where there is art.

It time to bring back a feeling of brotherhood in all people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2007 I traveled to San Diego, and as far north as San Luis Obisbo as a surfer until staying with personal friends and relates on the rest of my way to Seattle.

On this trip, Captain Cosmos I will "surf" our way to Los Angeles, as stated, and also to serve as "couch" hosts for short joy rides in towns where other surfers in the community show interest in our project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with members of couchsufing in Lincoln NE, Boulder CO, and Durango CO, and San Luis Obisbo.

I had a great experience with my hosts in every city.

I was always greeted warmly and shown an amazing inside look at the community I was visiting that would never have been possible by traveling with traditional means.

Couch surfing is my new traveling tradition.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing music at the Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Hiking in the Grand Canyon and dipping my soar feet in the Pacific Ocean in the same 24 hour time period.

Traveling over 20,000 road miles in one year.
