About Me
I'm a designer who wishes his bedroom could be a jungle and who appreciates colors, patterns, forms, and transportation. I love languages and the different ways they think, delighting my mouth with tasty food, exploring nonstop, meeting new people, and friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had some great experiences on and through Couchsurfing. While I was in university in LA, hosting visitors from Berlin helped me find my job and make the move to Europe. It also got me some great friends in this city : )
With my friends in college, we've stayed at a most awesome co-op in miami, and lived with a bread baker from Italy, we got shown the local scene in Paris as well. Each experience has been just super fun and I look forward to continuing the tradition !

Music, Movies, and Books
'Call Me by Your Name' and 'The Skin I live in' are my top two movies. Game of Thrones is not a movie but I've watched it, and Donnie Darko is also v nice.
Steven Pinker's 'The Language Instinct' is a good read, almost anything from victionary is a good look.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was on a grant from national geographic this last summer to photograph the Hmong culture in Laos and Thailand. I only crashed my motorcycle once, right when I picked it up from the rental office: into the table and glass window of the restaurant next door, knocking everything over...
Now I can shift gears with the best of them and that is amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I would just like to share our city and travel tips and passion : )
Whether this is story swapping, recommendations on the places to go, a couple of beers, a park bench, or sharing my couch with them on a future visit, it all fits w me. I'm a pretty independent traveler and don't need much, up for anything !
