About Me

CURRENT MISSION

As broad as it sounds, I would like see the world, more importantly meet the people living in it.
ABOUT ME

Born and raised in LA, which is pretty rare round here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend and I initially joined Couchsurfing over 10 years ago when we were planning a trip throughout Europe and wanted to meet up with locals in all , or some, of the cities we were visiting. That of course never happened because it was a very fast-paced, hectic trip, but I am still here on Couchsurfing hoping to meet people from around the world. I prefer to host, or to meet up with locals when I travel to other cities, which unfortunately has not happened for a while. I am hoping to change that in 2020 and have a few trips lined up.

I enjoy hosting people in LA and showing them places they might not be able to see if they weren't staying with a local, as well as giving tips on things based on individual interests. I much prefer to make friends with surfers as opposed to just being free lodging, but I realize that many people are just looking to experience LA as budget-friendly as possible and I understand if you just want to do your own thing and not hang out.

Interests

I am not sure why travelling is even listed as an interest, as I would assume that is obvious. My interests change pretty much day to day, and living in LA I am lucky enough to be able to enjoy outdoor activities regularly, but I definitely don't mind just bumming it at home occasionally.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took an emergency, overcrowded ferry, a bus ride that felt like something out of a video game or bad action flick, and an incredibly overpriced train to get from Dublin to London because all flights were grounded due to a volcano eruption.
