About Me
Hello!
I'm Andrés, a 26 years old Student from Spain, enjoying life in Copenhagen.
I'm an extrovert person, but not much a party-type-guy. I really enjoy to meet new people and have an active social life. That’s why I worked with an Erasmus association in my university three years ago, volunteering with other local students, offering travels and activities for Erasmus people.
I really liked the international atmosphere of that work, that gave me the chance of getting to know people from all around the world and also started to bake in my head the idea of applying for the awesome Erasmus experience myself.
Therefore one year later I found myself living in this beautiful city of Copenhagen as an exchange student during my Nutrition and Dietetics Bachelor... And well, since that wasn't enough, I'm now back again!
Currently, I'm studying a two-year program in some kind of a mix of graphic design, business, and marketing, here in Cph. You could say that I'm trying to blend among Danes, but I can tell you already that I'm not succeeding so much at it yet :P :)
I speak English and I'm learning Danish, although I can't even start a conversation in the local language after all this time haha Also as you could maybe guess, my native language is Spanish:)
I love sports (I have also a bachelor in Sports Sciences that I finished in 2015) and I usually train a lot over my weeks. Right now I'm quite into some kind of gymnastics skills (Circus Handstands), acrobatics, and climbing, but I practiced Taekwondo for over ten years during my teen-ages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people, and as I've been in the situation where I've been searching someplace to crush onto while traveling, I am very empathetic towards offering my own sofa/floor to anyone that needs it, if It fits my availability ;)
AT THE MOMENT MY ACCOMMODATION SITUATION DOESN'T ALLOW ME TO HOST PEOPLE (But I really hope that that changes soooon!)
Interests
I'm a very open-minded person that enjoys a wide range of things, from sitting on a cozy place maybe enjoying a cup of coffee with a new book, hanging out with a new friend or planning adventures for hiking, climbing, visiting places, enjoying physical activities, and many many other cool things ;)
I love physical activities. I usually train a lot of hours per week, mostly circus style handbalancing, acrobatics, and climbing.
If you like sports and training, coffee or tea, and speaking about stuff (deep or not deep, it is your choice), for sure you'll enjoy my company :)

Teach, Learn, Share
I worked for a time as a personal trainer, mainly through online coaching (which sounds very professional and cool, I know! :P). At the moment I can't afford working at it, but basically, it consisted of designing training plans for people week by week, through constant feedback and counseling, providing motivation and guidance towards improving peoples health and lifestyle :)
Currently, I have a student job as a weekend waiter at a super nice and cozy traditional Danish food restaurant (that you are more than welcome to visit).
I'd love to learn about almost anything! I like to think I'm a good listener, and an open-minded person, so I'll be probably quite excited to hearing anything you'd like to share with me ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
One very interesting thing is that I work during summers as a tourist guide in the city of Copenhagen, so if you come around here, you can expect some tons of facts coming out of my mouth :P
